Pale Rider is one of my all time favorite movies and is certainly one of the very best western movies ever made.  Our Pale Rider movie hat replica is the most accurate available.

     

     This is the authentic original style that was often worn by the infamous Danites (Mormon hit men).  Shown with optional Leather Band (available in black or brown).  

  

     I believe Clint Eastwood modeled his Pale Rider character after Porter Rockwell, the Mormon Avenging Angel, who killed over 50 men.  This style crown tapered off in popularity by the 1880's, but there is a man wearing a silver belly colored hat like this in a picnic photo with Custer taken shortly before his "Last Stand".  

 

     This is one of our most stunning hats.  You have seen our Pale Rider in the Cowboy Chronicle, worn by well dressed shooters and in advertisements for other products.  Shoot Magazine photographs many of our customers and showed our Pale Rider on the title page with 1/2 page print in May/ June 2005.  Our Pale Rider hat has also appeared on the pages of Guns Of The Old West.  We frequently see photos of our Pale Rider hat on the internet where people are representing them as Stetsons and ask as much as $20,000.  Be very skeptical.
